The Objective
The primary objective of the exhibit is learning rather than teaching and the main focus is our next generation.
Through the construction of displays and the preparation of interactive presentations for the exhibit, the participants
will research and study the teachings of various proponents of nonviolence.
These activities will inspire them to
put into practice the principles of nonviolence in resolving day-to-day conflicts.

ACTIVE Nonviolence
"In its negative form, nonviolence means not injuring any living being, whether by body or by mind. This
statement does not necessitate me to withdraw the intended victim from the wrongdoer. In its positive form, nonviolence means
the largest love, the greatest charity.
This active nonviolence necessarily includes truth and fearlessness. Indeed
the proper practice of nonviolence requires me to remove the intended victim from wrongdoer. One cannot then practice nonviolence
and be a coward at the same time. The practice of nonviolence calls forth the greatest courage."
